4v4 -F6- LandCruisers Caved
Bases are tucked into a mountainous cave and separated by a canyon gap you must jump. Don’t worry; the jump is easy. If you’re watching your vehicle controller, you’ll need about 50km/hr to hit the jump perfectly or you could also park on the arrow and then put it in neutral to coast. You’ll hit the perfect speed that way. The bases are well protected from the front, but very vulnerable from the rear. The map is designed to allow tank-forts to drive past enemy cores and park on the rear side of them.
Destroy your enemy by shooting into the front of the cave window. The highest points of the map are aligned well with the window to make it easy to get weapons through it. You can also fire lasers and missiles from your base window through their base window, however players will likely mitigate this with anti-air or shields. The best way to destroy the enemy is to drive to the rear side of the bases and fire at them from behind. Two or more tank-forts usually gets the job done pretty quickly.
Why 50% gravity? LandCruisers maps are huge. Slightly reduced gravity allows projectiles to fly farther facilitating long distance tank battles. Additionally, tanks are less prone to bottoming out, and vehicle mechanics feels more natural.
Special thanks to Endo for making the awesome Autumn Environment.
If you like the map, give it a thumbs up. This will help others in the Forts community find maps that you think are worth a play. If you think this map could be improved or you have a map idea you want me to build, leave a comment. I would love to hear from you.
