Female Idle Stance
This mod enables a feminine animation that is in the game files but remains unused. (for now)
- Enables unused feminine idle stance animation
- The stance is visible in-game, in the character panel, and in the character creator
- Mod Options to toggle the stance independently for male or female characters
- Idle and feminine animations sync in multiplayer
The mod only changes the idle stance animation and optionally the walk & run animations. This means that all other animations will revert to the usual ones, like if you’re holding a gun and most weapons for example.
– 42.13 -> 42.17 | If you notice issues with animations or character model not loading correctly, try restarting the game with the mod enabled in the main menu.
I added an optional add-on that also enables walk and run animations.
In-game
Tested with mods like Tactical Pistol Hold and Buttstroke / Gun Stock Attack and I didn’t have any issues. However it might conflict with mods that change a lot of player animation xml files.

Originally I was trying to update and fix StandingPosture by separating the idle stance for men and women and found out about the unused Kate animations in the game files.
After some trial and error I managed to have a working example. Then I came across the Feminine animations mod and discovered that both my mod and this one work very similarly, But I did manage to make the animations work more seamlessly by fiddling with xml animations files.
If I manage to fix the animation from StandingPosture and get the original author’s permission, I might add it as an optional add-on.
