Hoover’s Flag Fixes
A mod for all of the perfectionists out there. I noticed while creating my much larger Fun with Flags mod, that some ships do not work with Nations Override and whilst modding a bunch of other ships identified the root cause.
I am sure the game developers will fix this for the record, but it only affects five of the lesser used ships so I can see it being way down their list of things to do.
In the meantime here’s a simple mod that fixes the Tiger, La Combattante, Bier Grassa, Aggressive Minesweeper and Komar so that you can change their flags.
For those modders out there, there’s not much of a secret here, make sure in the variants.ini you have a value at the top set to NationFlagReference=Flag1 and then make sure the actual flag submodel in the vessel.ini is also called Flag1.
I’ve updated these boats for those that do not want to be bothered fixing it, but want to change their nations. For any other questions reach out!
