This is the simplest mod that returns the ability to use items through the quick access panel as it was implemented before patch 1.25.
For example, if you have a bandage in the first aid kit, the first aid kit in the pot, and the pot in the backpack, you can still take the bandage quickly through the quick access panel.
You can pack this work in your modpack without questions, likes, credits and other heresy.
