BM Transport Replica Skins for Scania 2016
Quite possibly my most complicated skin to date
Replicas of various NG Scanias operated by BM Transport Ireland, and matching trailer for the SCS curtainsider. None are quite perfect and all are missing the correct style sunvisors, but the skins themselves are approximately correct.
v1.2 Update – Added 2 new skins, adjusted existing skin (fixed missing grey areas on front grille, fixed italic font on sideskirt being ‘twisted’)
V888 BMT – Scania 660S
PN20 AVT – Scania R500, ex WS Transportation. 500 engine, stickered as 450
231-MN-915 – Scania R500. Sister truck of -916 and -917.
With V888 BMT, due to the limits of the game and parts available, some areas are incorrect. The sunvisor is different, the lightbox is ‘fake’ as none exist of that shape in the game yet, the rear bumper is similar but not right, there is no way to have both an exhaust and sideskirt trims, and a few other little bits.
I used several mods to make V888 BMT look how it does in the screenshots, to be as close as I could manage to the real vehicle.
IJ’s Truck Accessory Pack, for various parts – https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=695738881
TumbEd’s EKO Truck Parts, for the corner aero parts – https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2919913253
50keda’s 50k-addons, for the Kelsa bars – https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=246467
WC007’s Hypro, for the bullbar – Paid mod. I believe I can’t link this here as it breaks Workshop rules, but you can find the link to buy it online.
Trailer is based on BMT46163, with some liberties taken. The ‘incorrect’ blue colour on the curtain is not a mistake. I recommend using the SCS Trailer Tuning Pack for paintable parts more similar to the real trailer. Only available for the SCS curtainsider full length.
Colour for the blue wheel centre paint is approximately 200, 100, 100 HSV. I’ve matched it to be the same colour as Speedy143’s, so if you use this cab with their trailer, it won’t look wrong.
Thank you for looking. If you like this, please have a look at my other skins on Workshop, mostly UK based haulage companies.
