An Absurd Amount of Names by Planktopia
This mod adds 800 first names and 2,000 last names to the game, meaning that there are now approximately 1.6 million possible name combinations.
I made this mod five years ago, but having never modded before, I didn’t know how to upload it. I got back into the game recently and forgot how sad it is to play with a hospital full of Mary Smiths and Fraser Joneses. This list was lovingly curated, though I don’t remember exactly how at this point. I remember going through lists of the most popular names in the United States, as well as looking at and adding some of the most popular names seen in other countries around the globe.
This is your warning that you may end up with 77 year old men named Tanner Kobayashi who don’t look remotely Japanese. But after having enjoyed this mod on my own for so long, I hope you’ll enjoy it too!
