DD2 Hero Skills (Override ver.)
Gives heroes 4 new skills (in some cases 5) inspired by their new skills in Darkest Dungeon 2.
Abomination:
Backlash: Pulls 2 and marks. (Ironic, and basically Come Hither, I know.)
Ichor: Single-target blight. Applies the same debuff as Beast’s Bile, but can target any rank. Small Blight Chance bonus vs Marked.
Maul: Single-target damage, like Rage, but can’t reach rank 3, -20% DMG, and ignores PROT.
Instinct: Single-target. Removes riposte, Pull 2, lowers PROT.
Arbalest:
Quarrel: Lesser "vs marked" damage bonus than Sniper Shot, but can be used from rank 2.
Windlass: Cleaves ranks 2, 3, and 4 with a chance to mark. Low accuracy.
Field Dressing: Heals like Battlefield Bandage, but cures DoTs instead of buffing healing.
Bodkin Volley and Barbed Volley: High-damage ranks 2, 3, and 4 cleave with low base accuracy and an accuracy bonus vs marked. Bodkin Volley ignores PROT and Barbed Volley applies bleed.
Bounty Hunter:
Staredown: Damage debuff, marks self.
Bodyguard: Buffs self PROT and guards target.
Hurlbat: Ranged attack with bonus ACC vs Marked.
No Escape: Stuns and marks.
Crusader:
Rallying Cry: Cures debuffs and buffs debuff resist for self and one ally.
Reap: Front-ranks damage cleave that reduces enemy healing received. Clears mark, heals self vs marked.
Radiance: Self buff damage and self heal.
Tenacity: Buffs PROT for self and one ally.
Flagellant:
Drain: Clears corpses. For each corpse cleared, applies bleed to all enemies. (Note: in DD2, enemies killed by DoTs leave corpses. In DD1, they do not.)
Leech: Hits all bleeding enemies. For each enemy hit, heals self a bit. 3 per battle.
Lash’s Gift: Buff target PROT and DMG, but apply stress. Heal self and self debuff healing. Must be below 40% HP. Can’t target self. 3 per battle.
More, MORE!: Mark self and activate Riposte for 1 round. Riposte does no damage but applies 1 round regeneration to self.
Grave Robber:
Dead of Night: Clears corpses. Heal and stress-heal per corpse cleared. Self stealth if at least one corpse was cleared.
Glint in the Dark: Bypass and remove target stealth. Damage bonus if self is stealthed.
Pirouette: Back 3, front-row cleave.
Repartee: Mark self and buff self dodge.
Hellion:
Toe to Toe: Deals slightly lowered damage, buffs self move resist. Forward 1.
Bloodlust: Same buff as Adrenaline Rush, but further buffs DMG and ACC vs bleeding.
Raucous Revelry: Heal and stress-heal self. Stress-heal other heroes. Applies the same self-debuff as Bleed Out.
Howling End: Nothing but damage, and a lot of it. Ignores PROT. Applies the same self-debuff as Bleed Out.
Highwayman:
Double Cross: Buff self PROT, debuff target PROT.
Highway Robbery: Buff self DMG, debuff target DMG.
Double Tap: Ranged attack with +30% DMG vs targets below 50% HP.
Tracking Shot: Mark and Destealth target, and debuff target DODGE.
Jester:
Fade to Black: Back 1, full damage, debuffs target ACC.
Play Out: Buffs party PROT.
Encore: Grants target ally an extra turn but bleeds them. 3 per battle.
Echoing March: Pull 3.
Leper:
Reflection: Heals self stress, cures self debuffs (only those curable by herbs) and buffs self debuff resist.
Ruin: Buffs self for 3 rds: Buff self DMG on getting hit.
Break: 25% less damage than Chop, but ignores PROT and reduces target PROT. (Same bad accuracy as Chop though.)
Bash: Does some damage and stuns.
Man-at-Arms:
Hold the Line: Forward 3. Stuns target and buffs self move resist.
Stand Fast: Buffs self PROT and marks self. 1 use per battle (buff lasts whole battle).
Courageous Abandon: High damage, increases self damage taken. Damage is increased by other skills, à la Finale. 1 use per battle.
Strategic Withdrawal: Back 1. Marks target, does a bit of damage, and buffs self speed a bit.
Occultist:
Malediction: Applies a weak bleed and blight, and debuffs bleed and blight resist.
Binding Shadows: Melee attack. Ignores/removes Stealth.
Anamnesis: Applies a weak bleed to all enemies.
The Burning Stars: Single-target ranged attack.
Chaotic Offering: Slightly bleed self, buff self DMG, ACC and CRIT.
Plague Doctor:
Ounce of Prevention: Buffs party’s blight, bleed, debuff and disease resistance. Lasts entire battle, once per battle.
Indiscriminate Science: Heals a lot, but debuffs self healing for 1 rd (technically 2 but it ticks the same turn it’s applied).
Cause of Death: Melee attack that ignores PROT and deals more damage vs blighted and/or bleeding but cures Bleed and Blight on the target.
Magnesium Rain: All-ranks cleave that does decent damage, raises light level, and clears corpses.
Vestal:
Consecration of Fortitude: Buffs target PROT and DODGE.
Consecration of Light: Buffs target ACC, DMG, and CRIT.
Ministrations: Cures Blight, Bleed and Stun. Buffs Blight, Bleed and Stun resistance.
Sanctuary: Guards target and buffs self PROT.
Mantra: Heals all heroes, more than Divine Comfort, but only those with a Consecration on them.
This version of the DOES NOT tweak their pre-existing skills AT ALL.
