Cluster Projection
Launch your cluster! Clusters now are not ever a previledge of the mechanoids. You can assemble and launch your clusters to anywhere.
To launch the cluster, you should firstly build a cluster assembler.
A cluster assembler starts with the cluster projection console, then 2 orthogonal straight assembler rails connected to it. Then you can pave launcher floors between them. The actual launching area is the tiles covered with launcher floor within a rectangle defined by the 2 orthogonal rails. The valid launching area will be highlighted with blue if you are concerned.
Then, add enough steel and fuel into the console, build your cluster (do not build roofs!), assemble them. If you want to bring electricity, build battery cells. If you want to bring pawns, build infantry capsules and let the pawns walk in. If you want to bring items, just build some shelves and stack the items on them. The assembler will automatically pack them into pods and preserve everything contained in it. The assembling animation is the sexiest thing I have ever made.
After assemblance, just click launch, and select a target like how you use transport pods. I also added a projection guide beacon that can be launched on transpod launcher, and can light up a map before any colonizer steps in for up to 3 hours. With this, you can peek the map without harzard and select the exact landing point for your cluster. Building oil/steel expansion tanks by the console can help you launch bigger and farther.
