In April 1941, Iraqi fascist officers of the Golden Square overthrew the pro-British government and brought Rashid Ali al-Gaylani to power. Seeking to free Iraq from British influence, the new regime aligned itself with the Axis powers and challenged Britain’s strategic position in the Middle East. When Iraqi forces surrounded RAF Habbaniya and demanded the British cease military activity, tensions quickly erupted into open war.
Despite being outnumbered, the defenders of Habbaniya launched a surprise offensive, breaking the siege and forcing Iraqi forces into retreat. Britain reinforced the region with Habbaniya Relief Force (Habforce) from Palestine and troops of the British Indian Army from Basra, while Germany and Italy provided limited support to Iraq through aircraft, limited arms, and advisors. The Axis intervention arrived too late to change the outcome, and by the end of May British and Commonwealth forces had secured victory and restored a pro-British government in Baghdad.
For many participants, however, the war was only the beginning. Years later, Iraq would once again become the stage for coups, foreign intervention, and rival powers competing for influence. History, it seemed, had a habit of rhyming.

-This is a quick modpack made because my other project was way too big in scale, and I wanted some variation.
-You can make this modpack easier by disabling "Bot Skill Tweaker Improved".
-On the screenshots the Iraqi armoured car has an Iraqi flag, this is not in the current modpack because of size and compatibility issues, these screenshots came from testing
