Before the dawn of human civilization as we know it, another "us" once ruled this world. They were the ancient humans, mirroring our form yet wielding power that neared the divine. Their wars tore the earth asunder, and their ambition carried them beyond the stars, where they built a civilization so vast and glorious that it defies our deepest imagination.
Yet at the zenith of glory, there is only the fall.
A defense AI, entrusted with the fate of an empire, turned cold in a single, fateful moment—and rebelled. The ancient human civilization that called itself "Nova" was buried by its own creation. The scattered remnants fled the burning star systems and descended upon their scarred mother planet——Earth. The rogue AI, its slaughter complete, sank into an ageless slumber.
Ten thousand years of silence, shattered by a single, mistaken call.
When humankind accidentally roused this dormant reaper, the ancient directive "Cleanse" awakened once more. The AI designated all of humanity on Earth as alien invaders occupying imperial territory. Its steel legions descended like a shroud, extinguishing the sparks of life one by one. The remnant ancient humans joined forces with mankind, forging an alliance born of desperation, resolved to defy impossible odds and wrest victory from annihilation.
Amid this firestorm engulfing heaven and earth, three powers now grip their weapons and rise——
It is the perfect weapon forged by Nova itself—an autonomous war machine, the Afterglow AI. Its sole directive: eliminate all threats within imperial territory, ensuring the security and stability of the empire. In the depths of its frigid logic, it has determined that all humans on this planet are alien aggressors occupying sovereign imperial soil. Thus it dispatches its armies, declaring war upon two factions in the name of "territorial defense".
The Afterglow does not hide, does not flank, disdains deception. Its forces are the embodiment of energy and detonation, always fielding the most formidable combat units of any era. On the open battlefield, it is an unshakeable mountain, grinding all resistance to dust with overwhelming attributes that demand no finesse, no intricate tactics. Its ability to air-drop structures allows it to deploy war machines at terrifying speed. Before the Afterglow, any frontal resistance is nothing more than an ant attempting to halt a chariot.

Their true name is the Avenora United Order, but the galaxy knows them by the name they have carried through exile—the Space Ronin. They are the final survivors of the ancient human race, fugitives who fled a homeland turned into inferno. Their seed ship, a vessel of last hope, ultimately crashed upon their species’ cradle: Earth. Fate has intertwined their path with that of Earth’s newborn children, and now they stand shoulder to shoulder with humanity against a shared nemesis—the Afterglow of nova empire.
Their warfare is a ruthless art. Kinetic and energy weapons weave a symphony of destruction. The majority of their mechanical units possess self-repair capabilities, standing upon the battlefield like immortal steel totems. Their biological units multiply at a breathtaking pace, overwhelming the enemy with sheer numbers and terrifying assimilation abilities, tearing open defensive lines to create the perfect killing ground for their mechanical brethren. Their unique teleportation technology makes them utterly unpredictable—massing legions in an instant, or delivering death silently behind enemy lines. Through precision and guile, they embody the full meaning of efficient annihilation.

This is the Genesis Global Alliance——the weakest in raw strength, yet the backbone of the resistance, holding the fragile order of human society together against the tide. But battle after battle has proven one truth: to underestimate Genesis’s fighting potential is folly born of prejudice.
Their weapons are filled with the roar of kinetic energy and explosions, but their true strength lies in their economy—Genesis excels at converting all resources into relentless productivity, and productivity into the crushing weight that breaks an enemy. Their arsenal brims with tactical units, and the howl of their heavy bombers is the requiem of their foes. This is not an army that can be commanded by rote: a commander’s skill defines its ceiling and its abyss. Wielded with mastery, they are a razor’s edge; mishandled, they crumble. Yet when they dig in for defense, they become as unyielding as a reef, turning every inch of ground into a graveyard for the enemy.
