SISTER GAME MODE OF BREAKTHROUGH. CHECK IT OUT AS WELL!
Mod Overview
Well, I already made Breakthrough mode, and with a few tweaks, I created Frontlines mode. This is basically classic Ravenfield, where both teams attack and defend. However, instead of the chaotic, map-wide back-capping, bot squads are strictly ordered to fight along the map’s established point connections. I highly recommend using this instead of the normal vanilla behavior.
Guide
- Attacker Priorities:
- If a reachable frontline enemy point exists, attack it directly.
- If no frontline enemy point exists, move through connected friendly points toward the nearest enemy point.
- If no connected path exists, attack the nearest enemy capture point.
- Defender Priorities:
- If on a frontline point, defend it directly.
- If not on a frontline point, move through connected friendly points toward the nearest frontline point.
- If no frontline path exists, move to the nearest owned capture point.
- The frontline and progression depend on the map’s capture-point connections, so map layout strongly influences how the battle unfolds.
