Wrath of the Islanders: An Icelandic Improvement Mod
I made this mod to add map, province, and dynasty detail to Iceland. The two lonely provinces in this corner of the map could use some more love…. this is what Wrath of the Islanders is for.
It contains:
– Redone province and terrain maps for the region of Iceland
– 5 provinces for Iceland instead of 2: each with locational icelandic names
(These provinces are under the Icelandic Duchy, the Norwegian Kingdom, and the Scandinavian Empire. Provinces are properly Norse and Norse Pagan)
– Towns with icelandic names to populate the 5 provinces
(Town names are properly utilized when the provinces become Feudal (the names go from ____ tribe to the historical name))
– Dynasties, with names based on icelandic settlement, to rule the provinces
– A Northern Icelandic Sea so that the upper provinces can raid
– Landnámabók: an Icelandic saga as an artifact
In the future I’d like to
– Make intrigue screen events to subjugate the rest of Iceland (Did that)
– Create Greenland events
– Create raiding adventure events
– Improve my historical and geographic accuracy through feedback
I put over 25 man-hours into getting the mod to this state, and I am seriously committed to improving it, so please give me whatever feedback you can.
