Sci-fi Turret Pack

but first release can have some initial small bugs, that I’d gladly hear about if you find them.
Inspired by the Scifi Spaceship Pack and Scifi Vehicles Pack, this Sci-fi mod brings the same faction-aware, multi-camo approach to static defense turrets. Drop any of the 10 turret types straight into Eden/Zeus, already wearing the right camo for your mission requirements.
This mod is a personal milestone for me. Up until now, my work has been almost entirely scripting-based, and this is my first serious attempt at creating more objects/units. I already had some basic Blender skills going in, but this pushed me to get a lot more comfortable with it, and I got to learn a lot more about Substance Painter and the Arma 3 addon builder workflow along the way. The turrets are a stepping stone toward something I’ve wanted to do for a while: weapons, vehicles, and eventually my own custom units.
I’m reasonably happy with how the textures came out for a first attempt, but I know there’s for improvement. If you have constructive feedback on the textures or anything else, I genuinely appreciate it.
- 10 distinct turret types: Gatling (M134 minigun), Gatling (GAU), Missile (LR-AA), Missile (SR-AA), Missile (AT), Autocannon 35mm, Flame Turret, Cannon (Artillery), Cannon (AT), and a Railgun
- 12 camo schemes per turret: Factory Grey, Snow, Military Green,Black, AAF, CSAT (Arid), CSAT (HEX), Insurrectionists, UNSC, Astra Militarum, Chaos (WH40K), and Imperial Fists (WH40K) (IMP FISTS, only some)
- Faction-correct assignments: AAF and Insurrectionists variants spawn as INDEP, CSAT and Chaos as OPFOR, UNSC and others as BLUFOR. All three sides covered for neutral camos.
- Full virtual garage support – all camo variants selectable in-game via the garage camo menu
- All turrets are AI-operated (UAV crew), very near-future/Sci-Fi themed
- Editor preview images for every single variant so you always know what you’re placing
Q: Is this multiplayer compatible & Can I use it with X mod (e.g. AntiStasi)?
A: Yes. These are standard config-defined objects.
Q: Can I use these in Zeus?
A: Yes, all variants are spawnable as curator.
Q: Does the Flamethrower work with Burn’em Redux?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I retexture or reskin these for my own mod?
A: There is a ‘camo1’ selection you can retexture, but check the license section below.
