Proximity Inventory
Loot like a vacuum cleaner — one tab that scoops up every container around you.

Proximity Inventory adds a single tab to the loot window that merges every nearby container into one list: crates, shelves, corpses, car boots, the floor. Stop clicking through fifteen cupboards — grab everything from one place.
- One tab, everything nearby. All the containers in reach, merged into a single inventory.
- Stays put. The tab keeps itself selected as you move around — it only switches when you click a different container.
- Loot without losing it. Grab items straight from the tab and stay right where you are.
- Snaps back when you wander off. Walk away from everything and it locks onto the proximity tab again, ready for the next pile.
- Spot the source. Optional highlighting of the containers a nearby item is in.
- Put it back, or just auto-sort it. Drag items onto the tab and each is whisked back to the container it came from, or — if that’s forgotten — one nearby already holding the same item, or failing that the same kind of thing. It respects each container’s weight limit, moving to the next when one fills up, and anything that won’t fit stays with you with a quick note telling you why.
Clearing a house, a gas station, or a fresh pile of zombies? Everything in arm’s reach shows up in one tidy list, so you can scoop, sort, and bail faster.
Works with vanilla and is friendly with CleanUI. Single-player and multiplayer both supported.
Open source (GPL-3.0) — modify it freely, just send your fixes back to the GitHub repo above instead of re-uploading your own copy. Keeps everyone on one version.
