🛠️ OVERVIEW
This mod completely overhauls merchant caravans and militia units, bringing realism, progression, and new visuals to Bellwright.
It replaces my previous mods (RealMerchantAndPatrol), while keeping the best features into a single, cohesive experience.
My goal is to create a one-click overhaul bringing difficulty and diversity into Bellwright.
🌍 CURRENT FEATURES (BETA)
REWORKED MERCHANT CARAVAN
• Expanded buy/sell slots for more dynamic trade (20 selling and buying orders at the same time).
• All in-game merchant items are now included in the random pool (without books).
• Caravan guards fully rebalanced and still recruitable.
• Each village has caravan members depending on whether it has been liberated or not, and on its geographical specifics (tier, nearby resources).
MILITIA OVERHAUL
• All militia units have been redesigned with new armor models and skill trees.
• Each village has different starting militias and unlockable militias; some have access to specialists (tier 2).
• You can recruit every new unit normally through gameplay (Militia and Caravan Guard).
• More Build point in village (Doubled)
• More unit in Militia (For future bandit overhaul)
MILITIA AND CARAVAN IN DETAIL
• Haerndean specializes in light infantry and has some archers; their specialists are tier 2 light infantry, and their caravan is a mix of soldiers and archers.
• Padstow specializes in Archer and has Light infantry; their specialists are tier 2 archer, and their caravan is a mix of soldiers and archers.
• Bradford is a mix of heavy infantry, light infantry and archers, but does not have specialists.
• Farnworth only has infantry in large numbers, but no specialists.
• BlackridgePool has a large number of archers and some light infantry. Specializes in tier 2 archers.
• Horndean has a large number of heavy infantry, and few archers, they specialize in tier 2 heavy infantry.
• Crasmere specializes in t2 light infantry and t2 archers, possessing both in numbers.
NEW ASSETS & VISUALS
• New armor textures (Bronze, Iron, Steel tiers).
• Plenty of new colored armors for visual diversity.
🔨 BETA TESTING GOALS
Please test:
• New armors (textures, progression, crafting).
• Militia units (recruitment, balance, skills).
• Merchant caravan behavior (buy/sell slots, random item pool).

• More armor retextures based on future needs and feedback.
• Each village having custom caravan (with custom merchant table)
• Continuing militia configuration (number, cost, etc., in line with upcoming bandit additions).
• Investigating village-unique militias (specialists).
• Collaborating with other modders to include their work for a unified overhaul experience — one click, no file conflicts, no stolen work.
📜 NEXT ADDITION – COMING LATER
• Reworking general difficulty (tougher combat, more enemies, synergy with militia system).
• Complete trade overhaul based on each village and its geopolitical situation.
• Addition of new enemy types (more chivalric foes).
Other ideas are still taking shape little by little.
My goal is to create an overhaul that increases both difficulty and diversity in Bellwright.

⚠️ COMPATIBILITY
• Not compatible with mods that modify VillageConfig and each village caravan file
• Fully replaces old versions (RealMerchantAndPatrol).
