Baroque and Classical Music for EU5
Baroque & Classical Music for EU5
______________________________________
An EU5 successor to Robski’s "Baroque and Classical Music" mod for EU4. It removes the vanilla soundtrack and replaces it with real recordings that fit the era you are playing in.
Over 7 hours of music across 90 tracks, spanning the Baroque, Classical, and early Romantic.
______________________________________
What it does:
Every vanilla track is replaced. The mod patches the game’s Wwise sound banks directly so the original music no longer plays, and the library plays in its place across the menu, loading, and in game music systems.
The loading screen opens with Handel’s Largo from Xerxes, and the main menu plays Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins in B Minor.
For the best experience, use "Dynamic – All" in the audio settings. Nothing more than that is needed.
The "currently playing" display as far as my knowledge goes is hard-coded into the in-game files and attempting to alter the music player display would affect the checksum, so no display on what is currently playing unfortunately, but skip track, pause, etc. are all functional.

This mod would not exist without predstavitel_morskogo_narodca (https://steamcommunity.com/id/predstavitel_morskogo_narodca/), who did the heavy lifting on reverse-engineering the EU5 audio system and building the conversion tools this mod is built on. Massive thanks.
And to Robski, whose "Baroque and Classical Music" mod for EU4 set the standard this one is trying to live up to.
