Tome of the Fracturing
RISE FROM RUIN SUPPORTED AND REQUIRED!
This is a Chaos/Astral Tier IV tome mod which continues my series of mods to cover the rare Affinity combinations with interesting mechanics. The Tome of the Fracturing is, frankly, overpowered, and it’s focused on bringing the Rise of Ruin expansion’s mechanics to their logical, violent conclusion. Become a servant of chaos, a destroyer rivaling the Unmakers!
The Tome Adds:
1. Astral Barrens Preference – Passive. Astral Barrens terrain in any of your cities’ domain gives +2 Gold and +2 City Stability.
2. Barren Endurance – Passive. Non-Magic Origin units regenerate +10 Hit Points a turn on Astral Barrens terrain.
3. Violent Fracturing – a Global Map Spell that deals 25 damage to enemy armies in a province, and turns it and all surrounding provinces into Astral Barrens with spawning Fractured Infestations on them.
4. Rift Marks – Unit Enchantment that gives the Barren Touch ability to your Magic Origin and Ethereal units, giving them the ability to remove debuffs from allies and inflict Mana Drained on enemies.
5. Reap Magic – Combat spell that damages a 2-hex area of enemies, inflicts Mana Drained on them, places Fracture obstacles and can’t backfire.
6. Fragmented Rage – Empire Bonus that gives Frenzy to all Fractured units once researched.
7. Summon Fractured Creatures – World map spell that you know what it does. Unleash the devastation!
The Tome is Good For:
1. Beating the AI with overwhelming destruction
2. As a final payoff for going Astral/Chaos as your affinity combination
