EUROMOD – F122 Bremen-class frigate

My first (and maybe last) mod! Was a cool model to make and texture, so I thought to make it into a mod. It’s a bit rough but should be fully useable. Please report any bugs!

**Description**
The Bremen-class was the mainstay of the West German Navy for the later years of the Cold War up until recently. With eight vessels built it was a relatively numerous class and a big leap in capability over earlier Köln- and Hamburg-class destroyers.
Designed primarily as an ASW platform, these frigates are the first in the Marine to operate Helicopters. The ASW armament is you usual NATO frigate. In other words: Mk46 Torpedoes and ASW helicopters with more torpedoes.
Note that this frigate is not equiped with a towed sonar array, not do its helicopters have sonoboys. Instead they use dipping sonars.
Compared to F 120 & F 121 the Bremens are equipped with more, better AShMs (Harpoons – like most NATO frigates. However it carries eight, more than most frigatees). It also has limited point-defense capabilities with a Mk29 box launcher for Sea Sparrow. Sea Sparrow is accurate missile, but very limited in range and number.
Modernized in the late 90’s, the ships were equipped with two RAM launchers. Standard equipment for all modern German vessels. These significantly improve the anti-missile capability.The modernized ships also come with better radar, better AGM-84s and limited CIWS
