Visible Laser Sights
Works in both Beta and Stable.
This mod will render a laser sight on any weapon that has the laser sight trait. Useful for dodge-reliant clones to quickly identify enemies with laser sight weapons visually.
Works with all weapons with laser sights, including modded weapons.
By default, renders a red laser. Vanilla weapons with different lasers have custom colors and offsets, configurable in json. Modded weapons will render with a default red laser, unless you make entries in the json for them.
In the mod folder there is a file called laser_config.json. If you can’t figure out how to use it, ask me and I will help you.
Q: Save compatible?
A: safe to add and remove.
Q: Performance?
A: Efficient. I have a poor computer and using this mod, I observed no noticeable difference in performance.
Q: Modded weapons?
A: Yes. Although they will use a default red laser. To change it, see Configuration section
