Xenon Quality (Economy Only)
Variant of Xenon Quality with only the economy changes:
Xenon SE:
- Hull only costs 1 energy cell. Xenon hulls are already very cheap, so it’s just an extra measure to reduce death spiralling. Equipment is normal price.
- Double cargo capacity.
- Increased mining laser range by 1km.
- Custom ship modifications indicated in the image. The stat bonuses seem high because they are percentage increases to the SE’s low base stats. They are necessary considering the poor performance of the vanilla SE and their lust for suiciding them. Observe the table images for a comparison.
- Xenon build resource probes around their stations to encourage SE to mine in their own sectors.
These changes will greatly increase its efficiency and survivability.
The enormous radar signature reduction reduces the detection range from 40km to 5km to help it avoid killing itself. If it is detected, the buffs will help it survive. Your personal ship can see through the radar cloak while they are inside your radar range.
If you don’t enjoy the cloak, use the No SE Cloak submod to remove it.
SE drop exceptional mods on death since they use exceptional tier mods for the buffs. If you don’t like that, use Xenon Quality (No Loot) to remove the drops.
Vanilla SE always attempts to fight when attacked.
I recommend pairing this mod with Xenon AI Miners.
His flee behaviour synergizes well with my radar cloak and improved engines.
