Delayed Courtyard Introduction
It’s silly that the Crimson Court quests start practically immediately after starting a new game. The first mission is apprentice level but after that it requires Veteran level and beyond heroes. It takes too many weeks to train a decent amount of heroes to level 3 for the courtyard and by that time, the infestation is at high, you’ve probably already met the fanatic, and a good majority of your roster is cursed.
This mod delays the Crimson Court introduction quest from week 3 to week 20. By this time, it’s most likely that you still have a few heroes who are Apprentice level for the initial mission and a few Veteran level heroes to start the first courtyard mission. It’s very unlikely to have a team that is ideal for the courtyard and Veteran level by this time but this gives the infestation enough time to spread, which is the true challenge of the DLC.
