Description:

The mod changes the effects of different climates. It stays with vanilla but has additional changes. For unsuitable -35 growth, +150% construction time and +350% construction time for settlement buildings, -25% line of sight for the settlements, -15% movement range for armies and -5% leadership that’s all increased for uninhabitable. It creates the situation where it becomes an occupation and not somewhere to grow a new power base from like back home. Having to hold and use what’s there making the choice when conquering more important. If combined with my other mod called Factions Ruins it makes it so ruins are very difficult to be rebuilt if not a pleasant climate for the faction but with no financial penalty to upset the AI. It only makes a very long build time that’s in keeping with vampires not building dwarven buildings. The mod also makes it so the unpleasant climate is unpleasant and not a walk in the park.
