Southern Hive Human Fix
A dialogue fix for Southern Hivers.
Did you know that Southern Hivers are called "human" in dialogue as a placeholder? Many bits of dialogue also do not recognize them, even if it checks for Western Hivers. I decided to try modding Kenshi for the first time to fix this.
If you have any other mods that places Southern Hivers into the same race group as Western Hivers, this mod is redundant and may cause overlapping dialogue.
List of goodies:
- New dialogue has been added for Southern Hiver players talking to Hive traders, and for workers spotting the player.
- Various dialogue lines from the Holy Nation have been updated to check for Southern Hivers.
- The Hiver Ronin player dialogue has been updated to work for Southern Hivers. Espher had it, yet he wasn’t allowed to use it before. Rejoice!
- Hive-based biome dialogue lines will now trigger for Southern Hivers.
- Added dialogue for Southern Hivers entering Royal Valley/Greyshelf and Vain.
- Racial word swaps have been updated to count Southern Hivers in the hive category.
- Grammar fixes for Southern Hivers in character creation.
- Added a player Ronin response to their crops being eaten. None were set.
- Compatible with Southern Hive Praetorians from Hives Expanded thanks to being in the same race group.
The content is subject to change, and suggestions are welcome if you know of any Hive-specific interactions that need updating for Southern Hivers.
