Description:
The required items are NOT required, they are just some add-on packs I made for this addon, if you like one, grab it! they’re cool!

Remember screensavers? Bubbles floating across the monitor, a logo bouncing around waiting to hit the corner, pipes building themselves across the screen in the school computer lab. AFGM brings that back, inside Garry’s Mod.

Go idle long enough and a screensaver kicks in. Any input dismisses it instantly.

Pre-Loaded Screensavers
  • Bubbles — glassy spheres bouncing around the screen, colliding with each other and changing color on impact. Based on the Windows 7 Bubbles screensaver with the shading reverse-engineered from the original.
  • Pipes — fully 3D pipes build themselves across a grid while a camera slowly orbits the structure, just like the classic Windows screensaver.
  • GFlag — the Garry’s Mod logo bouncing around DVD-logo style, as a fully animated APNG.
  • GmodWin — a spinning 3D model bouncing around the screen like the classic DVD logo, rendered live in the Source engine.
  • 3D Maze — a first-person camera navigates a procedurally generated maze in real time, complete with spinning polyhedra, a roaming rat, and a goal to find. Built entirely in the Source engine renderer.
Features
  • Configurable idle timeout from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes
  • Per-screensaver settings — speed, size, count, dim amount, FOV, and more
  • Live preview in the settings panel so you can tweak things without waiting for the idle timer
  • All settings persist between sessions automatically
  • Force On mode keeps the active screensaver running continuously even while you play
  • Random mode cycles through all registered screensavers so you never see the same one twice in a row
  • Accessible from the context menu sidebar or by running screensaver_settings in console
Multiplayer

Floating Z’s orbit above idle players’ heads so you can tell at a glance who’s gone AFGM.

Third-Party Addon Support

AFGM is built to be extended. Any addon can register its own screensaver into the system with a single ScreenSavers.Register() call — no need to write your own idle detection, input handling, or settings UI. The core handles all of that, and your screensaver shows up in the picker alongside the built-in ones.

If you want to make your own screensaver that works with AFGM, the only thing you need to write is the actual screensaver itself.

I am a solo developer, if there is an issue, I will try my best to get it fixed as soon as possible.
