LA: Orionde
My take on a Late Age Great Orionde. Illwinter stated that Andramania, Piconye, and Feminie all received some aspect of Ind such as the civility, knowledge, or piousness. So what if Orionde took on the bloodier aspect of Ind?
Seeing as how Orionde were already slavers in MA, what would be the next logical step for them? Blood magic of course! To facilitate this in a ‘lore-friendly’ manner, I figured that Orionde would take up Ind’s duty of cannibal wrangling but since they lack the Prester king’s piousness, they would eventually give into the temptation of power Blood magic offers. Orionde doesn’t have much to offer troop and mage-wise in MA. To remedy this, Orionde captured mages from Feminie and Piconye and turned them in researchers and communion/sabbath slaves. For funsies, Orionde has pretty low path access but the Suppressor General and Tyrant are auto-communion/sabbath masters and have easy access to auto-communion/sabbath.
Orionde’s sacred is pretty much just rule-of-cool for me, does it make sense? Probably not, but having a large huntress chase dudes down to net and lance riding on top of giant lions was simply too cool to pass up.
