Imperial Harmony: China Tools

A lightweight utility mod for China, Celestial, and Hegemony gameplay.

This mod adds a small set of practical tools for managing feudal enfeoffment, vassals, hegemony capital, child examination, and Dynastic Cycle Core integration.

The mod is designed to keep the decision list clean.

Only one main decision appears in the Decisions menu:

Open it to access the mod utility menu.

MAIN FEATURES

1. Enfeoff King

Adds a character interaction to convert an eligible Celestial vassal into a Feudal ruler.

Effects:

1. Converts the target vassal to Feudal government.
2. Converts the target vassals to Feudal government.
3. Applies single-heir succession.
4. Useful when you want to divide part of the realm into a feudal-style kingdom.

This is used from the character right-click menu.

2. Request Enfeoffment

Adds a character interaction for an eligible vassal to request feudal enfeoffment from their top liege.

The request requires strict conditions, such as strong opinion and a close relationship.

This is also used from the character right-click menu.

3. Transfer Vassals

Moves direct vassals to their proper de jure liege.

Use this when your realm becomes messy and vassals are under the wrong ruler.

This is a manual tool.

There is no automatic quarterly transfer.

4. Relocate Hegemony Capital

Sets your current capital as the de jure capital of the Chinese Hegemony title.

Use this if the normal capital relocation does not properly update the Hegemony capital.

5. Send Children to Examination

Sends all eligible children or close family members to the Children’s Examination at once.

Only valid targets are affected.

DYNASTIC CYCLE CORE INTEGRATION

This mod adds several tools to integrate titles into the Dynastic Cycle Core Region.

Available tools:

1. Integrate Primary Title (higher than duchy)
2. Integrate Capital Duchy (higher than duchy)
3. Integrate Held Duchies (higher than kingdom)
4. Integrate Held Kingdoms (higher than empire)
5. Integrate Selected Title

The selected-title option requires Title Manager.

Without Title Manager, the other integration tools still work.

IMPORTANT RULES

A title can only be integrated if it fits the political and cultural logic of the Chinese order.

In simple terms:

1. The ruler must be the Chinese Hegemon or inside the Chinese Hegemony realm.
2. The title must be politically inside the Chinese order.
3. The title main culture must be Chinese heritage or the current Hegemon culture.
4. Duchy integration is for regional integration.
5. Kingdom integration is for large-scale integration.

Newly conquered land can be integrated later if it has been politically and culturally absorbed.

Notice: If the title has not been integrated into the de jure territory of h_china, the game system will automatically remove it from the Dynastic Cycle region on January 1 every year.

AI POLICY

By default, AI does not use Dynastic Cycle Core integration.

You can change this during the game from the Imperial Harmony menu.

AI policy options:

1. Player Only
2. AI Low Chance
3. AI High Chance
4. AI Always

AI can only use held duchy and held kingdom integration.

AI will not use feudal enfeoffment, transfer vassals, child examination, or capital relocation.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod does not overwrite major vanilla files such as:

1. Governments
2. Laws
3. Factions
4. Casus belli files
5. Title window GUI
6. Dynastic Cycle system files

Title Manager is optional.

Recommended load order:

1. China, Celestial, or Hegemony framework mod
2. Title Manager, optional
3. Imperial Harmony: China Tools

Do not use this together with the full original feature mod unless you know what you are doing.

Some features may overlap.

The old Title Manager helper mod for adding titles to Dynastic Cycle Core is not needed if you use this mod.
