Munchies – Consumables Checklist
This list contains all of the permanent unlock consumable items in Vanilla.
The default keybind is K, this can be changed in the controls menu. You will need to set this keybind yourself before it will actually take effect. Mods can only set the default keybind, but they can’t set the current keybind. This means if you hit the reset button, it will go back to K, but the current keybind needs to be set to actually control the mod.
- The white text items are those that affect each player individually. These are available in all worlds.
- The pink items are only able to be consumed once per world, regardless of which character used them.
Mod support has been added via Calls. This means that developers can call into Munchies to add their content to this mod. This is the easiest and most extensible approach. If you want your favorite mod to show up here, reach out to the developer and ask them to add support!
When at least 1 mod is registered to Munchies, it’ll display tabs for each mod, and also 1 for vanilla (called “Terraria”). The tabs are 36×36 with 10 pixels of padding around the image, so effectively 26×26 for the images. I’ve set the images to scale themselves to fit, so try to use a square image if you can for best results.
If there are no mods registered, the vanilla tab will not appear, as there is no need for it.
If an image path is not given, or the texture cannot be loaded by the game, a default texture will be used in place. This applies for both the consumables and mod tab icon (although the tab icon doesn’t play well with the default texture lol).
Devs can also write mods specifically to add mod support. I will get to other addon mods in the future, but no timeline has been established yet.
- Calamity Addon – Adds support for Calamity
- Dragon Ball Terraria Addon
With the 1.4 update, Munchies can now support mods like Recipe Browser and others that rely on using a custom keybind while hovering over an item
The source code from this mod can be found here[github.com], if you would like to read it or add an issue to the board.
If you are a modder, the README has information on how to Call into this mod to add your own items to the checklist
