Calamity Simple Whip Addon
This mod is an addon for Calamity Mod that expands whip options and improves summon gameplay variety.
Features:
• Adds 45 new whips
• Adds 10 new whip-related accessories
• Adds 1 new accessory that modifies minion behavior
• Adds 1 new accessory that modifies whip behavior
• Adds 8 alternative versions of Calamity minion accessories with their debuff effects removed
The primary goal of this mod is to provide a wider variety of whips and new playstyle options for summon-focused builds.
As an important design consideration, this mod also aims to reduce FPS drops—especially during fights against worm-type bosses—by removing or avoiding minion debuffs and mechanics known to cause heavy performance issues.
For the same reason, all whips added by this mod focus exclusively on summon tag effects and intentionally avoid mechanics that could negatively impact performance.
This mod does NOT rebalance Calamity itself.
It simply offers additional choices and performance-conscious alternatives.
