OCD Tools
Guys, these are OCD Tools.
Precision helper tools for building clean roundabouts, sidewalks, tunnels, and grid-aligned layouts. Includes templates for both the main grid and diagonal grid alignment. Items are located under the Pedestrians menu.
I originally created this add-on mainly for myself. I released it with the thought: Hopefully it will be useful to someone.
99.99% of you will only use the tools for creating roundabouts and connecting roads to them. I hope the screenshots make it clear how to use these tools. 🙂
Other tools
The other tools are hard to explain, and I will not be making a video. I cannot manage an English commentary, and I do not get along with OBS, sorry.
In simple terms, they are used for:
PedeTool
- Building a sidewalk as close to the road as the collision model allows.
- Building a sidewalk on a 1/2 grid.
- Preserving the symmetry of connection points so they can be connected at right angles. The points can be displayed with CTRL+H.
- Q: Why are there so many connections?
A: Because the grid is not always available. It is often blocked, so you choose the nearest suitable node. The T key helps.
RoadTool and PedeTunelTool
Feel free to happily ignore RoadTool and PedeTunelTool.
