About this patch

Immortal Landmarks — SFO Compatibility Patch is a dedicated compatibility patch for Immortal Landmarks and SFO: Grimhammer III.

It adapts landmark rewards, special units, abilities, banners, ancillaries and building effects to SFO’s balance, pacing and campaign logic while preserving the identity of the original mod.


What this patch does
  • Adapts unique landmark units to SFO combat values, costs, upkeep and custom battle valuation.
  • Adds SFO unit-set support so landmark units interact properly with faction bonuses, skills, buildings and themed mechanics.
  • Integrates landmark reward units into SFO-style capacity and availability logic where needed.
  • Adjusts landmark abilities, passives and stat effects to fit SFO rules for resistances, leadership, ward save, block chance and combat bonuses.
  • Aligns scripted landmark rewards, dilemmas, missions, banners and army effects with SFO campaign logic.
  • Keeps landmark tooltips and visible reward text clear, so players can understand what the building actually gives.
  • Preserves the identity of Immortal Landmarks while making its rewards feel natural inside an SFO campaign.

Load order

Recommended load order, from top to bottom:

  • Immortal Landmarks — SFO Compatibility Patch
  • Immortal Landmarks
  • SFO: Grimhammer III

In Total War: WARHAMMER III, mods placed higher in the load order have priority over mods below them. Keep this patch above Immortal Landmarks and SFO so its compatibility changes can properly override the required mods.


Important

This is a compatibility and balance patch only. It is focused on SFO integration for landmark rewards, special units, abilities, banners, ancillaries, building effects, unit sets, caps and scripted reward logic.

A new campaign is strongly recommended, especially after major updates to Immortal Landmarks or SFO. Landmark rewards, building effects and scripted rewards may not behave cleanly when added or removed mid-campaign.

Do not use multiple SFO compatibility patches for Immortal Landmarks at the same time unless they are explicitly designed to work together.


Compatibility

This patch is designed for Immortal Landmarks + SFO: Grimhammer III.

Potential conflicts may happen with mods that change the same landmarks, landmark rewards, special units, abilities, banners, ancillaries, building effects, dilemmas, missions, unit sets, caps, scripted rewards or SFO progression logic.

It may work alongside other landmark mods, but balance and reward overlap are not guaranteed if they modify the same settlements or reward systems.

If you notice wrong landmark rewards, missing caps, strange unit availability, incorrect building effects, broken abilities, missing localisation, unclear tooltips or other SFO-related problems, please report them in the comments.

If possible, include your load order and mention any other mods that affect Immortal Landmarks, SFO, landmarks, reward units, buildings, abilities, banners, ancillaries or campaign scripts.
