Victory Conditions Overhaul – SFO Compatibility Patch

This is a dedicated compatibility patch for Victory Conditions Overhaul and SFO: Grimhammer III.

It updates VCO rewards, units, effects and script support for current SFO / Grimhammer III balance while preserving the route-based campaign structure and reward identity of the original mod.

• Updates Victory Conditions Overhaul for current SFO / Grimhammer III balance;
• Adapts VCO reward units to SFO combat profiles, costs, upkeep, model counts, HP, abilities and battlefield roles;
• Covers all current VCO reward units, including the newer Sartosa mercenary / landmark reward units;
• Adjusts VCO reward effects, ancillary effects, skills, traits and building-related rewards where needed for SFO pacing;
• Adds SFO unit-cap support for custom VCO reward content where relevant;
• Adds guarded Tabletop Caps support: if TTC is enabled, VCO reward units are registered as core / special / rare units. If TTC is not enabled, the script safely does nothing;
• Cleans up the old SFO patch structure by removing outdated duplicate rows, dead references, typo issues and bad localisation formatting;
• Includes localisation and tooltip support for SFO-specific rewards, caps and compatibility changes.

This patch does not work as a standalone mod.

Keep this patch above VCO and SFO so its compatibility changes can properly override both.

This is a compatibility and balance patch only. It does not replace VCO routes or redesign the victory system.

The patch focuses on SFO integration for VCO rewards: reward units, effects, ancillaries, skills, traits, building-related rewards, unit caps, Tabletop Caps support, tooltips and localisation.

The Tabletop Caps support is guarded. If Tabletop Caps is not enabled, the compatibility script should safely do nothing.

A new campaign is recommended after major updates to Victory Conditions Overhaul, SFO, Tabletop Caps or the game.

Do not use multiple SFO compatibility patches for Victory Conditions Overhaul at the same time unless they are explicitly designed to work together.

Potential conflicts may happen with mods that change the same VCO rewards, reward units, victory-route scripts, skills, traits, ancillaries, building effects, unit caps, Tabletop Caps integration or SFO progression logic.

Victory Conditions Overhaul uses LUA scripting. If another script-heavy mod breaks the campaign script environment, VCO objectives or rewards may also be affected.

This patch is designed specifically for Victory Conditions Overhaul and SFO: Grimhammer III. It is not intended for other major overhauls such as Radious.
