Conquest of Equestria Alpha 0.25
The Conquest of Elysium 5 mod ‘Conquest of Equestria’.
This is a planned total conversion mod in the very early stages of development. When fully developed, it will be generally incompatible with most other mods (individual portions will be uploaded as standalone so that, in the case of incompatibility, compatibility is possible in a way that players do not miss out).
The mod is set in Equestria. Friendship has broken down and the virtues of ponies have been set aside for the virtue of warfare. Separatist movements have blossomed and enemies have emerged to take the land for themselves. Will Equestria survive, or will disunity and disharmony prevail?
Factions with ritual AI:
Earth Ponies (Chancellor)
Unicorns (Princess)
Pegasi (Commander)
In addition to these 3, Changelings also have a decent amount of content.
None of these factions are in a fully finished state and need more content added. However they should be of an acceptable level of content currently. The only exception are the Elements.
The only sprites seen ingame are the ones made personally by me. The rest will be created later. Sprites will eventually fit a style but I estimate that there will need to be several hundred sprites done eventually.
The Earth Ponies are a city building faction. They can build machines and farms, which will give them an edge. The design philosophy is that they would be capable of getting a lot of weak to mildly powerful units while building up to very powerful units from their agricultural or industrial paths.
The Unicorns are a cost heavy faction looking for magical areas across the map to take. What’s implemented for them is a leveling system for their units with 4 paths. They are quality over quantity.
The Pegasi are more like the Earth Ponies, but more suited for exploring. They can take control of the weather to attack their enemies and summon animals for a unique edge.
The Elements are intended as a faction where recruitment is not an option. They recieve 6 powerful commanders, but no way to restore lost ones or gain more units. They are not close to fully implemented, as feedback is needed for their development. When implemented, they will serve as a ‘main character’ faction, where they play a bit like a DnD party. They will have a quest to put an end to the fighting and complete objectives. Currently they have a functionality that reflects their planned endgame, nearly impossible to fight. This is because my primary idea for them is that they will be hunted by the other factions if known about, and to reflect the Mane 6’s conflict ending nature in the show.
The Changelings are a faction devoted to amassing many units. They have special abilities, and can build hives almost anywhere. They can be hard to detect due to their capability of making disguised territory, and disguised units. Their queens can grow huge armies, and if they become powerful enough, taking out each main hive will be a burdensome task.
