Teleporting Ragdoll Stalker
A ragdoll that teleports behind players, and teleports away as soon as it is looked at. Works in single and multiplayer. It tries to avoid getting in the way of props, and being seen.
The model can be changed but only works with ragdolls that have the same bones as Breen/HL2 Characters.
Options can be toggled in the ‘Utilities’ section of the spawn menu.
The control panel simply toggles the console commands listed below.
It also has two buttons, for removing the ragdoll, and forcing it to appear.
In multiplayer non-admins will not see the control panel.
Console commands to change options:
Change the model: wt_telecreature_model "models/breen.mdl"
Turn off/on effect: wt_telecreature_doeffect 0/1 (default 1)
Turn off/on facepose: wt_telecreature_doface 0/1 (default 1)
Turn off/on keeping old ragdolls: wt_telecreature_keepold 0/1 (default 0)
Turn off/on the whole thing: wt_telecreature_turnoff 0/1 (default 0)
Set minimum distance to appear behind player: wt_telecreature_randist_min 100 (default 100)
Set maximum distance to appear behind player: wt_telecreature_randist_max 200 (default 200)
If the option is set to keep old ragdolls, you will end up with heaps of ragdolls around the map. I left it in because it’s kind of funny in single player.
Note: This is not really something you spawn yourself, it will just appear already on the map somewhere. You can force it to appear behind you using the control panel in Utilities.
