Description:

Replace your enemies brains with explosives.

Aim to lockon, left click to fire. Rightclick to clear lockon.

A loose recreation of the cerebral bore from Turok on the Nintendo 64. Fire a small drill that attaches their head and explodes their brain. See the videos for a quick demonstration.

How do I get more ammo?
Get more ammo the same way you do for any gun. You can right click the weapon in the spawn menu and choose ‘spawn with toolgun’, or middle click the weapon in the spawn menu and it will spawn where you are facing.
If you need the ammo name for some other addon the ammo type is ammo_wt_cerebralbore

Compatibility with NPCs
For locking on to the enemy it looks for their head bone. If the models skeleton uses the default valve biped (head is called Valve_Biped.Bip01_Head1) it should work. I have also added checks for the default npcs that have a different head bone. If you find an NPC on the workshop that you think it should work with or that it doesn’t work correctly (eg, detecting their head in the wrong location) then let me know.

Customising
To change the maximum lockon range use the convar wt_cerebralbore_lockonrange (default is 2000)

For server owners
wt_cerebralbore_downloads – convar for toggling downloads to clients
Set to 0 to not force anything to download (you will need care of setting up fastdl yourself otherwise your players will have missing models/textures)
Set to 1 to use WorkshopDL (resource.AddWorkshop) [default option]
Set to 2 to use FastDL (resource.AddFile) (obviously you need to take care of extracting the files and uploading to your own fastdl server)

The weapon looks like ass
I gave up on polishing the weapon model, if someone can improve/remodel it and do a proper viewmodel (working with c_hands + a reload animation) please message me.
