Better Prepare Carefully
Requires DFHack!
Small QoL improvements for the Prepare Carefully embark screen that frankly should have been in the damn game from day one. Simply subscribe to the mod to activate it globally, no further install necessary. Does not require a new world.
Features
- Shift-click on the plus/minus buttons in the item or animal list to add or remove things in units of 10
- Click and hold the plus/minus buttons to add or remove repeatedly, instead of having to click hundreds of times
- During repeat-change, the quantity increases by a factor of 10 after 10 repeats
- Use Tab/Shift-Tab to cycle between the Dwarves, Items, and Animals tabs
- Click-on-number in the item or animal list to enter the desired quantity via keyboard
- Config menu allowing you to enable/disable features as desired, set step sizes, set repeat delay and frequency, and change keybinds. Open via DFHack launcher -> "better_prepare_carefully settings"
Planned
- Shift-click and click-hold repeat for Skills
- Full keyboard controls for Dwarves, Items and Animals tabs
- "Clear All" button
