Description:

This addon can make a playermodel do flinch animation when a player takes certain types of damage.
It’s really simple and lightweight. And it should work on most of the playermodels.

Q : Can we see the flinch animation in first-person view ?

Well, it depends. If you’re using First-Person Body, you will be able to see it. But if you’re using Enhanced Camera 2, you won’t. Either way, this addon won’t add any effects such as screen shake or jitter to your first-person view.

ConVars :

XN_PlayerHurtAnimation (0 = off || 1 = on)
— To make this addon work on the players.

XN_NextbotHurtAnimation (0 = off || 1 = on)
— To make this addon work on the nextbots that use playermodels as their own models (such as Lambda Players).

XN_HurtAnimation_MinimumInterval (any value greater than or equal to 0)
— For example, setting it to 1 means the flinch animation can be triggered again after at least 1 second.

XN_HurtAnimation_MaximumInterval (any value greater than or equal to 0)
— For example, setting it to 3 means the flinch animation can be triggered again after at most 3 seconds.

XN_HurtAnimation_ActualDamage (0 = off || 1 = on)
— To make this addon work only when the damage events really happen.
— If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’d better not set it to 0.
