[Visual effects]ReShinySpell
(ChatGPT Translation)
== Required Mod ==
Mod Options
== What is this mod? ==
A mod that makes spell effects a bit flashier!
The new version of ShinySpell!
== More Details ==
Adds extra visual effects when certain spells are cast.
This is a complete remake of ShinySpell.
Since both mods display effects at the same time, using them together is not recommended.
Please use either this mod or ShinySpell, depending on your preference.
The effects apply to both allies and enemies, making battles feel a little more lively while also making it easier to tell who just cast a spell.
== What’s New Compared to the Original? ==
* Added configuration options
* New visual effects (Earthquake, Moonlight Arrow/Spear, Flare, and more)
* Reworked several existing effects
* Various internal improvements
* …and more!
== Configuration ==
Settings can be configured in-game via:
Settings → Mods → ReShinySpell
You can enable or disable individual effects, choose which characters the effects apply to, adjust colors and opacity, and more.
Notes for some options:
* Effects Outside Vision
* Effects that are visible from a distance (such as while using Telepathy) are treated as being within your field of view.
* Replace Element Colors
* Uses the colors defined by this mod to improve visibility.
* Disabling this option restores the vanilla colors associated with each element.
* However, depending on the color shades, some effects may become slightly harder to see.
* This option only affects visual effects added by this mod. It does not change vanilla text colors or other UI elements.
* Additional Particle Effects
* Makes certain effects even more colorful and flashy.
== If You Encounter Something That Looks Like a Bug ==
* If the issue appeared after a recent update, re-subscribing to the mod may resolve it.
* You can report issues in the Workshop comments or on Discord (such as the elin-mod channel), and I’ll do my best to respond.
* If possible, the following information can help make fixing the issue easier:
* Whether the issue can be reproduced
* What the target was
* Which spell or action triggered it
* Any unusual circumstances (large numbers of NPCs, very deep floors, etc.)
* But don’t worry if you don’t know any of that—simply telling me "this happened!" is perfectly fine.
Reports aren’t the only thing I appreciate—comments, feedback, and hearing what you think about the mod are always a huge motivation.
Thank you all so much for your continued support!
