Copper Republic Gas Flare
One of the products of oil refining is natural gas. Its most common use is powering stoves in houses, but this is mostly a waste as most modern stoves in the Copper Republic use electricity and some even radiation. The natural gas can be sold and exported for a good price to other, less advanced civilizations. Natural gas is very useful in the place it is produced though, that means in oil rigs and other places oil is extracted. It can be burned using gas flares, yielding electricity. It is not enough to power the machinery the natural gas is produced by, creating an endless loop. Regardless of that, it is useful for keeping stability in oil complexes, generating additional power. It is also a great way to get rid of the natural gas, as there is so much of it being produced by refineries.
