RimDark 40k – Mortarion Armor

Hi everyone!

In this RimDark add-on, I have added the unique armor and weapon of the Primarch of the 14th Legion – Mortarion.

Added armor:

Barbaran Plate

A heavy, custom-built power armor suit designed by Mortarion, bypassing standard Imperial templates. It is constructed from dense metallic alloys native to Barbarus, making it visually bulky and devoid of ornamentation, yet highly resilient to direct physical and thermal impact. The design integrates a closed-loop filtration system and a breathing apparatus connected to backpack canisters. The system continuously supplies the Primarch with concentrated toxic gases from his homeworld while venting them outward through respirator grilles.

Silence

A unique two-handed battle scythe, exceeding the Primarch himself in height. It was crafted by Mortarion on Barbarus; according to unconfirmed reports, the blade was forged from the scythe of his adoptive father, Nikaere. The weapon is equipped with a built-in power field generator that disrupts matter at a molecular level. It possesses extreme armor-piercing capability, allowing a single strike to cleave heavy infantry in Terminator armor, breach armored vehicle hulls, and bypass the protective fields of war machines. Due to the length of its shaft, it provides an extended engagement range in close combat.
