A submod for "Summary Better Overpowered Byzantium – Lite" that adds exarchate subject types adapted from the Alexiad mod.

– 25 restorable exarchates covering every region of the map:
Hispania, Gaul, Egypt, Persia, Khorasan, Alemannia, Germania, Africa,
Britannia, Ravenna, Belgica, Gujarat, Hindustan, Coromandel, Deccan,
Bengal, Arabia, Pannonia, Venedia, Ethiopia, Ruthenia, Scandinavia,
Baltics, Cathay, Sogdiana
– Two subject types: Core Exarchate and Border Exarchate
– Show/Hide toggle to keep the decision list organized
– Border adjustment decision to feed newly conquered provinces to existing exarchates
– Convert existing vassals to exarchates via diplomatic action
– Integrate exarchates into the empire
– Byzantine name lists and unique flags for each exarchate
– Overlord bonuses: +1 merchant per exarchate with 10+ cities

– Play as Byzantium (BYZ/ROM tag) or have byz_government_reform / roman_empire_reform
How to Use
———-
1. Click "Open Exarchate Administration" in the decisions menu
2. Each exarchate decision requires 3 owned provinces in its target region
3. Decisions disappear after the exarchate is created
4. Use "Adjust Exarchate Borders" to transfer newly conquered provinces
5. Click "Close Exarchate Administration" to hide the decisions
