Arma 3 Harmattan
Arma 3 Harmattan is an expansion to the Arma 3 Aegis mod suite exploring the Armaverse nations of North and South Lombakka. The two west African nations find themselves on the brink of war as superpowers and PMC’s vie for control. Set 60 years after the Civil War that split the two Lombakkas apart, tensions flare in the savanna.
•South Lombakka, a new BLUFOR faction depicting the Armed Forces of South Lombakka, using previous-generation European equipment. A long-term NATO ally, South Lombakka struggles to keep order in the remote regions of the nation.
• North Lombakka, a new OPFOR faction utilizing a mix of civil-war era Soviet equipment and new equipment provided by their new Chinese benefactors. North Lombakka declared independence almost 60 years ago, and the relations between the two nations have been tense ever since.
• The South African National Defense Force, a new Independent faction detailing the armed forces of South Africa. Riding a wave of economic growth from taking advantage of the Black Recession, the SANDF sets their sights on the African continent, aming to establish South Africa as a regional superpower to rival NATO and CSAT on the continent.
• Talon International, an independent faction returning from their depiction in the Arma 2 Private Military Company DLC. Notorious for their operations in Takistan after Operation Arrowhead, Talon International has seen the goldmine that is the Lombakkas and has moved in to capitalize on the chaos.
• Soft Dependencies for QAV OPFOR Vehicle Pack, QAV Type 08, Luca’s Embraer EMB 312 Tucano, JH UH-1X, and the Reaction Forces CLDC.
Harmattan is releasing in an early state. More content is planned in the near future, including:
• New factions, including Portugal and Seshuo Combat Solutions, a Chinese PMC.
• More soft dependencies for community mods.
• Utilization of new Aegis content once released.
• New weapons for various factions.
• Bohemia Interactive for Arma 2, Take on Helicopters, Arma 3, and Argo.
• Bran Flakes for textures, encoding, localization, et cetera.
• Ravenholme for encoding support.
• TheMightySultan for the QBZ-03 model.
• Anthrax for the North and South Lombakka flags.
• AveryTheKitty for teaching me basically everything I know about Arma modding.

A: No.
Q: Will you release X separately?
A: No.
Q: Does this mod replace anything?
A: No.
Q: Since this is set in a new nation, will there be a terrain made for this?
A: One day, hopefully. I do not know the process for creating terrains, but I would like to. For now, I highly recommend Niakala and Kujari.
Q: Will you make a patch for X?
A: No. You are free to make your own patches.
