Strandzi’s Dark Elves Endgame Crisis Scenario: Druchii Domination
Hello everyone, Strandzi here.
This is my custom endgame scenario featuring the Dark Elves. It works similarly to a vanilla scenario, meaning you have to select it from the list of scenarios at campaign start before it can appear in game.
I have added an additional optional feature, where you can choose the amount of random endgame scenarios that can trigger at once. It adds the difficulty of Ultimate Crisis, without giving up randomness of the random selection.
I really enjoy playing with endgame scenarios in my own campaigns, but a lot of factions are missing from the scenario list.
In this particular scenario I wanted to push my limits on what is possible in Warhammer III scripting to get the feeling of a persistent Dark Elf sea invasion.
I added some extra features in addition to what is expected from a base game endgame scenario.
Armies are spawned using my custom made Random Army Generator, instead of predefined armies.
The Random Army Generator is able to spawn modded Dark Elf units. See the Workshop page for more info on how to enable this feature.
When the scenario starts the Dark Elves do not appear as regular armies, but as Black Arks, sailing the seas and terrorising local coastal regions
While the Black Arks cannot go on land, they periodically spawn additional armies to capture regions along the coast. Leave them be for too long and you might have to fight more armies than you can handle.
Destroy the Black Arks and the Dark Elf war machine slows to a crawl.
Whomever controls Naggarond, controls the sea. The settlement grants powerful attack-favored, sea-based buffs to the faction that controls it.
