Strandzi’s High Elves Endgame Crisis Scenario: Make Donut Great Again
Hello everyone, Strandzi here.
This is my custom endgame scenario featuring the High Elves. It works similarly to a vanilla scenario, meaning you have to select it from the list of scenarios at campaign start before it can appear in game.
I have added an additional optional feature, where you can choose the amount of random endgame scenarios that can trigger at once. It adds the difficulty of Ultimate Crisis, without giving up randomness of the random selection.
I really enjoy playing with endgame scenarios in my own campaigns, but a lot of factions are missing from the scenario list.
In this particular scenario I wanted to explore a scenario where the High Elves become too arrogant to be trusted, seeking to reclaim their empire from ages past. I also added some permanent recruitment bonuses, which is a mechanic I personally enjoy playing with.
I tried a different crisis narrative than usual, taking inspiration from current world politics instead of Warhammer lore.
I added some extra features in addition to what is expected from a base game endgame scenario.
Armies are spawned using my custom made Random Army Generator, instead of predefined armies.
The Random Army Generator is able to spawn modded High Elf units. See the Workshop page for more info on how to enable this feature.
When the scenario starts, all ancient elven colonies are converted to military outposts to help the war effort. The high quality weapons and armor greatly boosts the units recruited from the region. Capture the colonies from the High Elves and your own recruits will benefit.
