Mod Overview
Thanks to Steel’s newly added ActorSkin.FromName() function, this works on any skin you have subscribed to! To configure it, simply separate skin names with semicolons. This is case-insensitive (e.g., SKIN1;SKIN2;SKIN3). Currently includes support for infantry skins, vehicle crewmen skins, and squad leader skins.
Features
- Assign different infantry skins based on customizable weight and probability ratios (Common, Uncommon, Rare).
- Set dedicated skins for drivers and gunners based on vehicle type (Airplane, Helicopter, Car, Boat).
- Crewmen spawn directly with their crewmen skins rather than suddenly changing when they enter a vehicle
- Includes a smart evaluation for vehicles, meaning an enclosed armored vehicle logically gets crewmen skins, while standard open transport jeeps, quadbikes, and others do not.
- Crewmen are bound to their roles; if a designated driver or gunner bot gets shuffled or switches seats, the script actively forces them back, even making them swap places with non-crew bots to reclaim their proper seats.
- Squad leaders can be assigned a distinct skin, provided their squad meets a configurable minimum size requirement.
