Located on the side of a Bhutanese cliff, the Paro Taktsang monastery is a monastery built in the 17th century to honor the guru who is credited with the introduction of Buddhism to Bhutan, who is said to have meditated in a cave on the site in the 9th century. Legends abound about the origins of the location, one such foundation myth is the guru came to the area from Tibet on the back of a flying Tigress, leading to the nickname "The Tiger’s Nest". Ingame, Paro Taktsang causes 33% of the city’s Faith output to be added to its Culture per turn, and provides and a free monastery in the city. It becomes available with Architecture and must be built in a city with a nearby mountain.
