Lord’s Cricket Ground Wonder
Lord’s Cricket Ground, commonly just known as Lord’s, is a cricket venue in St John’s Wood, London. Established over 210 years ago on its current site in 1814, it is the 3rd of 3 grounds that Thomas Lord established, with his first ground established in 1787 on what is now Dorset Square. Lord’s is widely referred to as the "Home of Cricket" and is home to the world’s oldest sporting museum, and its iconic and notoriously-exclusive Pavilion was built by architect Thomas Verity in 1889.
