Purple’s Selenia (and other Leaders)

UPDATE 6/24/2026: Now includes Hatsune Miku for Japan and Brazil!

Requires Rise and Fall, Gathering Storm, New Frontier Pass, and CIVITAS Philippines.

Adds a new civilization into the game based on my other projects, the Selenian Empire! Oh, and also adds new leaders for official civs, based on various fictional characters:

New Civs: Selenia
New Leaders: Matthew and Emily (Selenia), Rosalyn (Selenia and CIVITAS Philippines), Chimata Tenkyuu (Japan), Colin (Russia), Eirika (Hungary), Marth, Crazy Dave (America), Scrooge McDuck (Scotland and America), Azura (Japan, Germany, and Byzantium), Roy (Germany), Lyndis (Mongolia and Germany), Elsa (Norway), Hatsune Miku (Japan and Brazil)

Selenia
Civilization Ability: Selenian Frontier
Can build Farms on Tundra tiles, and on Tundra Hills tiles with Civil Engineering. Tundra and Snow tiles provide +1 Science and +1 Culture in addition to their usual yields, cost 50% less Gold to purchase, and accumulate Strategic Resources 100% faster. Happy cities gain +5% Science and 5% Culture. Ecstatic cities double these bonuses. Units are immune to damage from Blizzards. +100% damage from Blizzards in Selenian territory to civilizations at war with Selenia. Can run the Element Control project to reduce CO2.

Selenian Unique Unit: MagiTek Elite (replaces Field Cannon, Renaissance Ranged, requires Printing)
Lower Production cost (224 vs 330), 42 Melee strength, 64 Ranged strength. Range 3, Maintenance 3.

Selenian Unique District: Sanctum (replaces Holy Site)
Gains and provides major adjacency bonus (+2 Faith) for each adjacent Theater Square or Campus district, and grants 2 Great Prophet points per turn.
Specialists in the Sanctum yield +1 Faith, Culture, and Science

Matthew and Emily

On Tundra and Snow tiles, Farms and Camps receive +2 Culture, Mines and Lumber Mills receive +2 Science, Plantations receive +2 Faith, and (with the Irrigation technology) Builders can create Cocoa luxuries.

Rosalyn

Leader Ability: Makapuno
+25% Production toward Recon and Ranged units. All units gain +5 Combat Strength when fighting in Rainforest, Marsh, and Woods tiles. On those types of tiles, Farms and Camps receive +2 Food, Mines and Lumber Mills receive +2 Production, and Plantations receive +1 Food and +1 Production. Builders can create Bananas on any terrain when the Irrigation technology is researched.

Chimata Tenkyuu

Military units receive +1 Combat Strength when attacking for each different Luxury resource improved in Japanese lands. Builds Holy Site, Commercial Hub, and Theater Square districts in half the time.

Leader Ability: Restoration Queen
One extra Diplomatic policy slot with Political Philosophy civic. +30% Production toward Melee and Anti-Cavalry units. Killing a unit provides Culture equal to 50% of its Combat Strength. Building an Encampment triggers a Culture Bomb, claiming surrounding tiles. Gain the Khevsur unique unit when the Military Tactics technology is researched.

Eirika (Brave)

Leader Ability: Pledged Restorer
One extra Diplomatic policy slot with Political Philosophy civic. +30% Production toward Light Cavalry and Heavy Cavalry units. Killing a unit provides Culture equal to 50% of its Combat Strength. Building a Pasture or Fort triggers a Culture Bomb, claiming surrounding tiles. Gain the Black Army unique unit when the Castles technology is researched.

Marth

Leader Ability: Archanean Alliance
+25% Production toward Ancient, Classical, and Medieval land military units. Gains nine different unique units from nine different civilizations, unlocked at their usual technologies and civics. Capturing a Barbarian Outpost also grants a Tribal Village reward.

Crazy Dave

Leader Ability: Suburban Almanac
Tiles with vegetation provide additional yields: +1 Culture from Woods, +1 Science from Rainforest, and +1 Production from Marsh. Farms and Plantations receive +1 Production. Can build Farms on Tundra tiles, and on Tundra Hills tiles with Civil Engineering. All units gain +5 Combat Strength when fighting in Rainforest, Marsh, and Woods tiles, and +5 Combat Strength when fighting on a Farm or Plantation. Gain the Gatling Pea unique unit when the Flight technology is researched.

Crazy Dave Unique Unit: Gatling Pea (replaces Machine Gun, Modern Ranged, requires Flight)
Lower Production cost (450 vs 540), 60 Melee strength, 80 Ranged strength. Range 2, Maintenance 4, Sight 4. Can attack twice in the same turn.

Scrooge McDuck

All units gain +10 Combat Strength when fighting on a Mine or Pasture. Mines and Pastures receive +2 Gold. Builds Commercial Hub and Harbor districts in half the time. Happy cities gain +5% Gold. Ecstatic cities double this bonus.

Azura

Leader Ability: Songstress of the Lake
+30% Production toward Naval Ranged and Naval Raider units. Land units gain +10 Combat Strength when fighting in Lake, Coast, or Ocean tiles. Builds Theater Square and Harbor districts in half the time.

Roy

Leader Ability: Young Lion of Pherae
+30% Production toward unique units. Gains six different unique units from six different civilizations, unlocked at their usual technologies and civics. Land units gain +10 Combat Strength when fighitng in tiles with Volcanic Soil or a Geothermal Fissure. Volcanic Soil and Geothermal Fissures provide +2 Production. +2 Production to all Strategic Resources.

Lyndis

Flat Plains and Grassland tiles provide +1 Culture and grant +7 Combat Strength to land units. Gain the Samurai unique unit when the Feudalism civic is researched.

Elsa

Can build Farms on Tundra tiles, and on Tundra Hills tiles with Civil Engineering. Tundra and Snow tiles provide +1 Culture in addition to their usual yields and cost 50% less Gold to purchase. On those types of tiles, land units gain +10 Combat Strength and Strategic Resources accumulate 100% faster. Units are immune to damage from Blizzards. +100% damage from Blizzards in Norwegian territory to civilizations at war with Norway. Can run the Element Control project to reduce CO2.

20% Discount on purchasing Rock Bands. Builds Campus and Theater Square districts in half the time. Campuses and Campus buildings provide Great Musician points.
