Description:

This is a small, simple mod to make the Hellenic religion playable. It is not a total overhaul mod.

What this mod does:

-Hellenic is again selectable in Ruler Designer.
-The province of Monemvasia in southern Greece is Hellenic in 769 and 867, respresenting the Maniots and other lingering holdouts.
-The player can secretly convert to Hellenism at any time if they control one of its holy sites (Athens, Thessalonika, Abydos, Rome, or Alexandria)
-Hellenic now shares Zunism’s boosts to levy size and Heavy infantry, in the tradition of Hoplites and Legions.
-Various Byzantine flavor events will now fire if the Emperor is Hellenic, including Restore the Roman Empire.
-Enables Reformed Pagan-style Holy Wars.
-Localization is changed to use the Greek names and be more sensible overall (no more calling Pluto evil or holding Saturn as the High God).

What this mod does not do:

-Add reformation, heresies, a religious festival, a religious head, a Great Holy War, a holy order, a retinue and building, a devil worshipper localization or a secret cult.
-Add any specifically Hellenist flavor events.
-The Hellenic restored Empire will not have Imperial Reconquest, since Hellenics can now county conquest, Holy War and Subjucate.

What this mod might do:

-Province conversion chance is untouched for now. Hellenism will be very stable without any heresies, so while it’s more difficult to convert in the first place, in return a province that does convert should remain Hellenic forever.
-Some type of religious festival as well as a way to get Ares’ Own may be added in the future.

This mod is only intended to make Hellenism playable to the same level as the smaller faiths in the base game. For more advanced changes, I suggest Ancient Religions Reborn.

This mod shouldn’t interfere with anything else that doesn’t also modify Hellenism. If there is a conflict, please let me know.
