RentPerfect – Real Estate Rebalanced

Tired of pouring millions into real estate only to watch your portfolio earn less than
a single employee’s daily wage?
RentPerfect fixes that by rebalancing the rent market at its core, giving your
properties the passive returns they were always meant to generate, with zero
micromanagement and zero extra staff.
To configure the mod, go to Options > Mods inside the game.
— WHY REAL ESTATE IS BROKEN IN THE BASE GAME —
The math doesn’t lie. A $10,000,000 building at vanilla rates earns you $5,550 per day.
That’s a 0.27% return every 5 days. Meanwhile, opening one more convenience store and
hiring a cashier outperforms your entire property empire.
The result? Every experienced player ignores Real Estate past the early game. Not because
the fantasy isn’t appealing, owning half the city IS the dream, but because the numbers
never make it worth it.
RentPerfect makes the numbers make sense.
— HOW IT WORKS —
RentPerfect adjusts the rent market values at city load time so the game’s own systems,
including the native rent slider, automatically reflect the new baseline. No save file
edits, no fragile hooks, no third-party tools.
When you disable the mod or return to the main menu, everything goes back to normal
instantly. Your save is never touched.
— STRATEGIES —
Choose your empire philosophy from the native Mods menu:
Vanilla (0.0006)
The original game market. For the purist who just wants the UI access.
Low (~1.8x Vanilla)
A modest boost to kick off your real estate portfolio without breaking the economy.
Good for early-game players who want property to feel slightly more rewarding.
Balanced (~3.6x Vanilla) <- DEFAULT
The community favorite. Hits exactly 1% return every 5 days, $20,000 daily on a
$10M building. Passive income that scales with your portfolio without trivializing
the rest of the game. The sweet spot between realism and reward.
High (~5.4x Vanilla)
For the serious landlord. Aggressive returns that make large real estate portfolios
a genuine pillar of your income strategy.
Maximum (~7.2x Vanilla)
Absolute magnate mode. Designed for endgame players who want their skyline to pay
for itself. Massive passive income, no apologies.

— SPECIAL THANKS —
Grimothy
This mod exists because of you. Your comment on the PricePerfect page,
"if places paid out 1% of the sales price based on the market price every
5 days, for example for a $10,000,000 building, rent would be ~$20,000
per day", was the exact spec that became the Balanced preset. You didn’t
just suggest a feature. You designed the formula.
Thank you for putting into words what the community needed.
