Description:
BACKGROUND

The LX-319 heavy-lift helicopter, built by (fictional) Ray Industries since 2018, is a tandem-rotor powerhouse designed for cargo operations. Engineered to meet demanding industrial standards, the LX-319 is powered by a high-performance twin turbine jet engine and boasts an impressive 9,000 kg lifting capacity. Equipped with dual cargo hatches (rear and floor drop-down), a precision remote-controlled winch system, advanced radar, and avionics, the LX-319 is built for versatility, and capable of transporting up to 4 UniCon containers.

This particular unit is owned and operated by OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency. It features a SAAP CFI II RL underwater ROV and crane, for underwater recovery and salvage missions.

INSTRUCTIONS

Turn on the "Engines Power", which is located in the centre console. The jet engine will start automatically. When warmed up and spinning at idle, hit the "Rotor Clutch" and you are ready for flight. The system switches and light switches are located on the centre console.

TIPS
  • The helicopter tends to yaw to the left when in start-up mode, this can be countered by pressing yaw right and applying wheel brakes. Alternatively, don’t engage the rotor clutch until the engines are in idle mode, this will prevent any spinning.
  • When making a precision landing, use the "UNDR" camera, align the helicopter, toggle position hold, and descend.
